I walked the runway with my seven piece collection titled "HONOR" during New York Fashion Week in 2013. My collection was inspired by Mary Edwards Walker, the first female surgeon, and the Moses Wagon, a convertible medical wagon used in the Civil War.
Once I graduated college, I worked at Boston Ballet and Old Sturbridge Village as a costume seamstress. This gown was a project I took on at O.S.V. I meticulously measured every dimension of the original garment from the 1830s, created patterns, and stitched an exact replica of the gown together entirely by hand.
